Ugandan politician Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulany who is famously known as Bobi Wine joined Tanzanians today in mourning the lives lost after the MV Nyerere tragedy. He did so by sharing a message of condolence to the victims.
”This morning I read that the death toll in the Nyerere MV ferry disaster on Lake Victoria in Tanzania has risen to 209 or so. We continue to mourn with our Tanzanian brothers & sisters who lost countrymen and countrywomen in this tragedy of unimaginable proportions.” reads his message
I send sympathies to fellow leaders & artistes in Tanzania. My prayers are with every family that has lost a loved one. May you find solace & peace in the Lord who promises never to leave us nor forsake us even in such trouble. pic.twitter.com/8SWtQEKPOx

This tragedy brings to mind the perils on our lakes and rivers- with many people senselessly losing lives daily. May we all reflect and work towards eradicating such carnage on our waters because it is possible!
May the souls of the departed rest in peace. #Tanzania pic.twitter.com/xfkSZ0SgYv— BOBI WINE (@HEBobiwine) September 23, 2018
