Pogba impressed with Mourinho’s new boy

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was impressed by youngster Diogo Dalot after his wonderful debut in the 3-0 win over Swiss opposition Young Boys in a UEFA Champions League encounter.

Dalot was handed his debut after joining from Portuguese club Porto in the summer transfer window. The defender joined United with a pre-existing knee injury that required surgery.

Dalot featured in Manchester United’s Under 23 side last week on Friday and impressed under the watch of Jose Mourinho who trusted him with a starting berth in the Champions League group stage opener.

Speaking MUTV Pogba revealed that he was impressed with the defender, “For a debut he did really well. He suited the team and I’m very happy to see him play like that. All the players were all really proud of him.” Dalot will however not feature in the weekend clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers after Jose Mourinho noted that he is out but will feature in the Carabao clash against Derby County.
