Manchester United fans tired of Lukaku

Manchester United was frustrated by English Premier League new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers as they picked a point at home in a 1-1 draw in a contest of student against the teacher.

Despite a spirited start by Wolverhampton Wanderers, it was Manchester United who took the lead in the 18th minute when a lovely lay off by Paul Pobga that found new signing Fred whose effort from just the edge of the area found the back of the net with a low effort. The goal helped Manchester United settle well as they dominated possession, Fred almost doubled his goal tally in the added minutes of the first half but his effort that was destined for the top corner was kept out by Rui Patricio.

Wolves resumed the second half looking much brighter and restored parity in the 52nd minute through former AS Monaco midfielder João Moutinho who guided his effort into the top corner after Raul Jiminez laid off the ball to him unselfishly. Jose Mourinho’s charges continued to surge on, in search for an equalizer but their efforts bore no fruits as a resolute defending by Wolves earned them a point with Nuno Santo Espirito picking up a point against his former manager at Porto.
