Kenyans on twitter have applaud Kibera MP Ken Okoth’s quest to have marijuana legalised in Kenya.
Okoth wrote a letter to the National Assembly seeking to table a petition in the parliament to have marijuana legalized citing that it will help promote Agriculture, research and earn Kenya more tax revenue.

This came a moment after the National Assembly passed the 2018 finance bill on Thursday which was assented into law by president Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday.
Kenyans on twitter reacted with more of their reactions being drawn from the Parliament’s finance bill debate on Thursday and the president’s signing of the bill into law.
They have applaud Okoth for his move as they cite that banning of the drug in Kenya is one of the contributors to crime acts among the youths.
Some made fun that legalization of the drug will help Kenyans to easily forget about the the painful taxes that have been imposed unto them by the government.
