Ex-Manchester City star Toure’s agent trolls Pep Guardiola after Lyon defeat

Pep Guardiola  has been trolled by Yaya Toure’s agent once again — after Manchester City lost their opening Champions League game. The former City midfielder, 35, moved to Olympiakos in the off-season after his contract at the Etihad expired.

But his agent Dimitry Seluk has constantly fuelled talk of his rift with Guardiola with tweets and comments to the media. He tweeted a cartoon image of Toure in traditional African dress, sticking a needle into a voodoo doll.

Then a bubble off the voodoo doll shows Guardiola’s backside being stung. The witty image was designed to provoke and appears to have done just that with City supporters reacting with fury. Pep Guardiola’s daughter Valentina cries as Manchester City suffer shock Champions League defeat to Lyon.

Guardiola was still serving a touchline ban for ranting at referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz in last season’s quarter-final second leg against Liverpool. It was a two-match ban and the other game is suspended for a year.

Mikel Arteta was the man thrust on to the big stage to take charge of the Premier League winners, but his touchline bow was overshadowed by the shocking defeat to the team that finished 15 points behind PSG last season in Ligue 1.
