Changes in Gor Mahia-Ulinzi tie

Kenyan Premier League have effected the changes in the midweek clash pitting Gor Mahia FC and Ulinzi Stars cash which is set for Machakos Stadium.

In the previous schedule, the clash was to kick off at 3PM but it will now kick off an hour early at the same venue, Gor Mahia Chief Executive Officer Lordvick Aduda has confirmed.

“Tomorrow’s (Wednesday) match (Gor Mahia versus Ulinzi) will kick off at 2 pm not at 3 pm as earlier scheduled. That’s the latest communication we have received from the Kenyan Premier League,” Aduda told Gor Mahia official portal.

Gor Mahia FC will be hoping to return to winning ways after a shocking 1-0 loss to Thika United last weekend. Ulinzi Stars on their side will be chasing for the fourth straight league wins in the past four matches. They are currently enjoying a three-match winning streak after wins over Chemelil Sugar, Nakumatt and Wazito FC.

Other matches set for Wednesday, will kick off at 3 PM and 4 PM respectively. Relegation-battling Thika United will host 2016 Kenyan Premier League Champions Tusker FC at Thika Stadium as they seek to stay in the top tier. Thika United upset Gor Mahia FC over the weekend and will be keen to pick maximum points to keep the dream of staying top alive
