Tanzania’s socialite has Hamisa Mobetto has threatened to sue Diamond Platinumz for defamation.
Her threat comes after the singer insinuated that the woman behind a viral clip was Hamisa. In the recording, the woman is heard consulting a witchdoctor in a bid to lure him into marriage.
“Unapotaka kwenda kwa mganga uniroge mimi na mama yangu unaonekana wewe hushindwi kumuua hata mama yangu,” Diamond responded to the recording.
Following the allegations levelled against Hamisa, a source revealed to Global Publishers that she is seeking legal redress against the Jibebe singer.
“Mtu anayesambaza hiyo sauti ameshajulikana, lakini na Diamond naye anatakiwa kupelekwa mahakamani maana aliwaaminisha watu kuwa hiyo ni sauti ya Mobeto,” the source said in part.
However, Hamisa’s lawyer denied knowledge of the clip stating that “mimi sijaona hiyo klipu na sijaambiwa chochote na Mobeto mpaka sasa, kwa hiyo sina cha kuzungumza zaidi.”
Earlier this year, the two faced off in court over child support after Hamisa reported the singer for failing to support their son who was born in September 2017.
