They say the Internet never forgets, and Beatrice Elachi has come to learn bitterly how true this statement is. The embattled Nairobi County Assembly speaker is currently on the verge of losing her job after MCAs unanimously agreed to impeach her last week for using public funds to procure plastic surgery.
But Elachi did something last year, something that she could be currently regretting. In the aftermath of the bungled elections. Roselyn Akombe, an IEBC commissioner ran for her dear life. She went back to America, reporting that there was an attempt on her life.
But Beatrice Elachi, a Jubilee die hard went on national television and accused Akombe of being a foreigner who wanted Kenya to burn.
On a day when MCAs, moved to city hall to forcefully evict Elachi from office, someone posted the video of the speaker saying the nasty words about Roselyn Akombe.
The video has elicited different reactions from Kenyans including Akombe herself who has termed it Karma, trying to get one on Elachi.

Ms Elachi, who was impeached last week, reported to work on Monday after the Labour court stopped her removal.
The ward reps, who were accompanied by their supporters, pushed their way and momentarily gained entry into Ms Elachi’s office.

Ms Elachi, who moments earlier was holding an exclusive interview with NTV, remained calm even as some of the employees in her office panicked.
