Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has come out to defend slain university student Sharon Otieno.
The Rongo University student was found murdered in a forest in Migori county after being kidnapped by Governor Okoth Obado’s goons.
Some Kenyans have been quick to suggest that the deceased met her death because of rolling with sponsors and therefore deserves to die.
But Murkomen has rebuked all those justifying the death of the young lady saying they’re as guilty as her murderers.
“Sad that some netcitizens have completed their investigations, found Sharon Otieno & the unborn baby guilt of sin, convicted her & sentenced her & the baby to death. Now they are busy justifying why she had to die. You are as evil as the murderers.” the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator posted on his Twitter handle.

A section of ignorant Kenyans on Twitter have told the parents of Sharon not to even mourn since they saw their daughter come home with expensive gifts but didn’t question her.

A sponsor wants a Woman he can just have sex with, pay her and life goes on. They don’t need a Wife and so when You become pregnant, it’s like you have forgotten your role in his life. That’s one mistake Sharon Otieno did. Being Pregnant for Governor Obado was her death sentence.

RE: Sharon Otieno’s case~>”When we tell young girls to stop running after old and powerful men, they gang up to call us trash!
Young girls, just stop running after old men, it’s never going to end well.
