James Milner has given his thoughts on his career in an interview with ‘LFC Later’, and it is likely to annoy a few Manchester United fans.
Milner has played for Leeds, Manchester City and Liverpool – something that did not go unnoticed by Robbie Fowler, who also played for the same three clubs.
“Leeds, Man City, Liverpool, be honest pal – are you just copying me?” Fowler asked.
“Yeah, maybe. There are worse people to copy to be fair” Milner initially responded.
“But nah, I think it was just to annoy Man United really,” he went on to say.

Milner was born and grew up in Leeds, traditionally one of Manchester United’s biggest rivals, before moving to the only two teams who could eclipse them – City and Liverpool.
He also had spells with Newcastle and Aston Villa
