Chelsea boss termed as the best

Ahead of their meeting on Saturday 1st, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has made public his admiration for Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri noting that he is one of the best managers in the world.

Bournemouth travel to face Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge as they currently sit sixth on the table buoyed by their two wins and a draw against Everton.

Chelsea, on the other hand, sit third on the standings having won all three of their games so far under new manager Maurizio Sarri who joined Chelsea from Italian side Napoli.

The Bournemouth manager rated Sarri as one of the world’s best managers.

“I actually don’t remember the year that I went, but I spent a period of time with Maurizio and he was brilliant with me and I learned so much. It’s no surprise to see that he’s one of the best coaches in the world.

Howe revealed that he was impressed with Sarri’s tactics at his former side Empoli that he paid him a visit, “I’d heard a lot about his Empoli team and how impressive they were tactically, so I was really keen to go and watch him work, so we made contact with his people and he was kind enough to allow us to come.”

The former Bournemouth player added that he has learned a lot from the Italian manager, “What I saw, I was hugely impressed by and learned a lot from that experience. He brought his Napoli team to play us last year as well – they trained here for a couple of days, we played them and it was great to see him again.”

The match is slated for a 5 PM kick off on Saturday.
