The Kalenjin Community on Twitter has moved quickly to disown, World 1500m Champion Asbel Kiprop. This is after pictures emerged online of the athlete kissing the wife of his close friend and fellow athlete.
And now one, Kalenjin believes Asbel embarrassed the community since Kalenjins don’t kiss with their eyes wide open.

So Asbel was tossed to Kambas, who also threw him to the Meru people of Tharaka Nithi. The Tharakas vehemently rejected the offer saying the community cannot engage in such a barbaric type of kissing.

Lucky for Kiprop, one Kenyan came out to defend him saying that the athlete kissed with his eyes wide open for security reasons because they were in an open area. And owing to the fact that this was someone’s wife Kiprop had to take precaution.
I stand with Asbel on this one, he kissed while having his eyes open for security reasons. Look at the environment, its outside meaning the kiss was not for passion as it was at the bedroom
