OMG! Verona deploys anti-terror plan for Cristiano Ronaldo debut

This Saturday, C Ronald will make  his Serie A debut, when Juventus visit Verona, against to play Chievo.

The local government is also waiting for this event. A spokesperson told the Milan Sports News: “This is a globally influential event, so we decided to take security measures at the counter-terrorism level.”

Chievo’s home stadium, Bentogetti, can accommodate 32,000 spectators, and the tickets for this game are of course sold out. The local government is planning to close a weekend’s temporary market to give the audience a parking space near the stadium. Once the parking space is full, the perimeter of the stadium will block people other than the local residents and prohibit vehicles from entering.
