Ragnar Klavan has revealed that Mohamed Salah and Alisson helped convince him to swap Liverpool for Cagliari.

The 32-year-old defender, who made 53 appearances for Liverpool after arriving on Merseyside back in 2016, joined Cagliari for £2million on a two-year contract earlier this week.

Klavan struggled for minutes under Jurgen Klopp and was keen to move on from Anfield in search of regular playing time ahead of the campaign.
