Ramsey offered new Arsenal contract

Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been offered a new improved Arsenal contract, reports claim. The Gunners number 8 has a productive season scoring 12 goals in what was a disappointing last campaign for Arsenal with veteran Manager Arsene Wenger.

Formerly of Cardiff, Ramsey is entering his last year of the contract he signed in 2014 and could leave on a free next summer. It is understood that Arsenal would certainly sell the player before the season starts if he does not sign the new deal. Ramsey however made positive comments about new Arsenal manager Unai Emery after Wales 1-1 draw with Mexico saying; “I haven’t spoken to him [Emery] at all yet, but I think it’s an exciting time for the club and I can’t wait to get back there now.”

The 27 year old has helped Arsenal to three FA cup titles scoring the winning goal in two of the triumphs.
