Harry Kane to be appointed as England’s Captain for FIFA World Cup 2018!


Tottenham striker Harry Kane will be England’s skipper at the World Cup in Russia, the Football Association declared on Tuesday. Administrator Gareth Southgate has shared the position of authority around since assuming control as supervisor in 2016 however has now settled on Kane for the competition, which starts one month from now. The 24-year-old, who has scored 12 objectives in 23 universal appearances, was first given the armband for the qualifier against Scotland last June and has skippered the side on three further events. Southgate, who declared his choice amid a group meeting at England’s preparation base on Monday, stated: “Harry makes them remarkable individual characteristics. He is a careful expert and a standout amongst the most essential things for a chief is that they set the standard consistently.

He has belief and high standards and it is a great message for the team to have a captain who has shown that it ispossible to be one of the best in the world over a consistent period of time.
