Tottenham striker Harry Kane will be England’s skipper at the World Cup in Russia, the Football Association declared on Tuesday. Administrator Gareth Southgate has shared the position of authority around since assuming control as supervisor in 2016 however has now settled on Kane for the competition, which starts one month from now.
