Messi, Suarez to lead Barcelona against Sundowns

Spanish giants Barcelona have named a  full-strength squad to face Premier Soccer League [PSL] side Mamelodi Sundowns in a friendly match set for Wednesday at the FNB Stadium.

Manager Ernesto Valverde included 20 players from the senior team and three  from the reserve team for the one-off match against the newly crowned Premier Soccer League champions.

There were doubts as to whether Messi will be part of the team after the Argentinian worked out out alone during their last training before traveling at the Tito Vilanova.

The match is part of the Nelson Mandela Centenary celebrations that are ongoing in South Africa. It will also be a mind refreshing moment for captain Andres Iniesta who scored Spain’s World Cup-winning-goal at the same stadium in 2010.

Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Semedo, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Denis Suárez, Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Messi, Dembélé, Coutinho, Paulinho, Paco Alcácer, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, André Gomes, Aleix Vidal,  Yerry Mina, Carles Aleñá (26), Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta (40) and Jorge Cuenca (41).
